Trail Snapshots

Here are some pictures of what will give Calhoun Falls that extra edge in the tourist market. Horses are by far one of the leading factors in drawing people to an area. There are no horse trails put together like these anywhere in the country, no-where but Calhoun Falls, S.C..

Just a few (more to come) of our rail to horse trails snap shots, that cover about 8 miles of horse trails. These pictures don't show nearly a hundred miles of wood and lake trails that this trail goes by...Click on any picture to enlarge it in a new window.

This is how the horse trails look between the

State Park and Calhoun Falls and overlooking the new project. About 1 mile distance.

This shot is just as you start the horse trail

leaving out from the new project road area.

The horse trails winds along and inside the

woods unseen behind the sidewalk . Across the road behind us are where houses will be built.

Can't tell it much from the picture but we are

about 60 feet higher on trail looking down along the way into the new project area.

These Rail to Horse Trails run north and south through Calhoun Falls. Intersections are along the way which go west, down different trails leading to wood trails and Lake Russell shore trails.

We will start on our new stables soon..Horse boarding rates are here.

Below are a few of our many Lake trails and wood trails.

This lake trail is 3 or 4 min. from Our Main Barn

from center of town.This open type trail is our middle trail lasting 1 to 4 hours or more.

Most of this trail is open and has a private beach to take a break and relax.

The Sportsman above State Park Road

This is where we load up on supplies for the day and is 100 foot off the north trail

Great food and lots of room at the Sportsman with horse trails just across the street.

Wood trails are marked every few feet

Just follow the orange marked trees on the trail you like, can get you there and back.

Some trails are marked and some are not marked as we have guided trail rides.

At the top of the hill is where our BIG BARN WAS.

Our 300 foot long Horse Barn location was Dead Center of Town and of all our HORSE TRAILS.......gone
